Michael John GRUNSHAW
Unexpectedly on October 1, 2006, and of Johnston Street. Blackburn, Michael aged 19 years. The most
dearly loved son of Michael and Nikola, a much loved brother of Heidi, James and Jade, a loving
grandson of grandma Doris, grandad Bill, grandma Kay, grandad Peter and also nan Brenda, loved
nephew of Patricia, Richard, Elaine and John, Dawn and Dave, John and Wendy, Pally, Michelle and
Terry, Gerald and Wendy and also a dear cousin of Tammy and Dion and Michael's many other
cousins. Michael, a good friend to many and will be sadly missed by all.
We had an inquest on the 18th of December which a toxicology and post mortem report was read to us.
Michael died of cocaine mixed with beer which caused his heart to fail. My brother was not a
regulary user of cocaine and my dad didnt know that he even touched drugs before... sadly i did and
i was with him the night before. There is no such thing as a safe drug , and you always think it
will never happen to you! I know because i have done it myself.
Michael you are missed by us loads n loads.
still think about you everyday, you was liked by everyone. you didnt deserve to go. why does God
take all the good people? there must be a reason for it. i hope that you can see clearly now and
that you have headed for a bright sun shiny day.

Toddler Memories
Still thinking of you all and Michael- specially as it would have been your 21st this year in Jan. You were there when I first brought my son David home from hospital when he was born, such a cutie you were. Your face when he cried was utter amazement you were only 1 yourself but looked aghast that this little thing was crying. When you were about 3-4 you both loved cars - you gave my son a car once even though it was one you liked yourself and my son had that car for years it was one of his favourites too, think you got my son into cars at a young age as he mad about them now. Don't be eating too many Wotzits up there eh as you know what happened 1st time you ever ate 1 - never seen your mum panic soo much lol. Wishing you all our love and hope ya still smiling up in heaven sweetie xx

just like to say , hope you are at peace , my brother died in nov 2003 the inquest result was misadventure but drugs were involved, i miss him more and more everyday.

How mad is it i remember us being kids and me following you and your mates around and you was telling me to go away and find some mates of my own. hahayou
I so wish you was here to celebrate with, i miss you loads and loads, i try not to show it but i do. I hope to god you are in a safe better place. Theres no place like home for you though. you are a home boy, i remember you use to tgell mum and dad to tell your friends you are grounded because you didint want to stop out at there house you wnted to be at home.
we are all missing you lots and lots especially at a time like this when you should be at home with us all. Hurts me when i think about you not coming back. It aint fair why was it you? You are the best.
Im going now, going to go to your tree and put on sum flowers, mum got you a batman i remember your old one, nothing left of it haha

Geese hasnt it gone fast were all grown up, your 21st today luv your an oldie like me now ha a fine man you are. Wish you could be around so we can all celebrate together but i no ull stil be having a good time. We wil all be having a drink for you to remember tha good times because there never going to fade.
